Admission to the Pearl Museum is free to all visitors.
Opening hours
The Pearl Museum is open on weekdays from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The main objective of the Pearl Museum is to help preserve the colorful history of the pearl divers and merchants of Arabia
The complete standard tour takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour including the coinage section
The tour will begin with a short 12-minute documentary about the history of diving and pearls. After looking into the past and its most exciting memories, the tour guide will take you through the museum’s sections, and after completion of the last section, a magnificent sight of Dubai Creek will unfold in front of your eyes
This is followed by a walk through the Coinage Museum where guests will learn about the history of the UAE currency
All the information and labels in the museum are written in two languages: Arabic and English
The documentary is in five different languages: Arabic, English, French, German and Japanese
The visit to the Museum should be booked two days in advance
The maximum number of visitors per tour is 21 and the minimum is 7. If less, you will join another group of people depending on the tour availability
Please be on time for the scheduled visit, any delay will lead to the cancelation of the visit
Children under 12 years are not permitted
Photography is permitted
The consumption of food and drinks by visitors is prohibited within the Museum
Respectable clothing should be worn at all times, shoulders and knees should be covered
During the tour all mobile phones should be switched off or to a silent mode
